Fashion Design Work: Paper Dress

As of this week I am now a fully fledged fashion design student. It's all still a bit surreal, as I've been waiting so long for September the 21st to come round and now it's been and gone!
We are not completely under way yet, as it's only freshers week but our project was to create a paper garment, using brown paper and sticky tape.
The dress I created was done by sticking pieces of card to the mannequin to create a dress shape base to work off and then using triangles and squares to create definition and structure, whilst rolling some of the edges to add a bit of interest.
I can't wait to get started properly on Monday and first up is pattern cutting and sewing - my favorite!!
