Fashion Design Degree: Second Term

University is going really well. I passed all my first term modules with really good marks and now I'm half way through my second term.
It's scary to think that come May the 13th effectively I've finished my first year, it's going so quickly.

This terms project is all based on distortion and diversity. We have to make a dress and I'm hoping to create a 3D element to mine. Initially we were told we could use colour in the dresses but by the time the time the brief was handed out it had been amended to a black and white design!
We've also had to create two illustrations based on diversity as part of a competition brief.

First Term Top & Illustration

Cropped top made out of denim with sides seams removed and with hand stitched running stitch detail....

Illustration based on the top - I liked how this came out but I wish I worked on the face more as I feel it lets it down....

Second term projects so far...

Illustrations based on diversity.....

Some of my dress designs based on the  distortion project...
